Nachdem die
Beta-Phase für die Playstation 3 erfolgreich abgeschlossen wurde, gaben jetzt die
Entwickler von Digital Illusions (DICE) den Starttermin für die
PC-Beta bekannt. Beginnen wird
die
Beta demnach am 28. Januar und am 25. Februar werden alle Gameserver wieder abgeschaltet.
Gespielt wird nicht wie bei der PS3-Beta auf der Map
Arica Harbour, sondern es erwarte euch mit
der Map
Port Valdez eine Schneeumgebung.
"The battle for Port Valdez is fought alongside the waterline towards a great oil industrial landscape in
the Alaskan mountains. Using basically everything they've got the Russian forces are launching an
airborne assault to knock out the oil industries in the area. In their arsenal there are Main Battle Tanks
as well as fast-moving Quad Bikes and mobile armored AA. It's a vehicle focused battle, but with plenty
of infantry combat."
Mit bis zu 32 Spielern kann im
Rush Gamemodus um die Wette geballert werden.
Erscheinen soll der Krieg-Shooter
Battlefield: Bad Company 2 am 04.März 2010 für Xbox 360,
Playstation 3 und den PC.
